Vigilant, the classic New Zealand built Cutter Rig Yacht
Localy crafted
Vigilant is a 42ft Cutter Rig Blue Water 41 built in Whangarei, New Zealand. She features a wine transom, Burmese Teak Decks and a swamp Kauri interior. She was hand crafted by Keith Bradley from 1984 to 1989. Nik and Nat are lucky to be the third owners of this classic yacht, and still take 89 year old Keith out sailing whenever he likes.
A piece of history
Vigilant was one of the first charter boats in the Bay of Islands, she was run as a nautical school by Keith for almost 20 years. As one of the only nautical schools North of Auckland, Keith trained most of the local skippers in the area. Vigilant is well known and beloved by many lucky souls who have spent time onboard.
